The Chroma 8802 Electrical Dual Layer Capacitor Leakage Current Monitoring System is designed for Electrical Dual Layer Capacitor (EDLC) leakage current testing. The system consists of a modular leakage current monitoring box, a high power switched-mode rectifier DC power supply (SMR), and humanized control software that allows for multi-slot control, and is designed to test a large number of EDLCs over a long period of time.

The system's modular leakage current monitoring box provides a wide range of leakage current measurement (1uA~100mA), and each channel has an independent leakage current meter with zero input resistance, which is suitable for the low internal impedance characteristics of the electrical duel-layer capacitors and avoids the presence of the leakage current meter affecting the leakage current value. The Leakage Current Monitor provides three circuits (Charge, Discharge and Leakage Circuit), allowing the operator to complete all steps of the test in a single system. The Charge and Leakage Circuits are specifically designed to minimize the variations in the charging voltage of the object to be tested to reduce the time to full voltage. The Leakage Current Monitor provides a maximum of 1 amp charge and discharge current per channel, and provides a leakage current GO/NG indication on the front end for each channel. This indication signal will be locked automatically when the leakage current is measured and before entering the discharge step, users can clearly understand the test result of each product to be tested through this indication and pick out the good or defective products.

The system includes control software with multi-slot control capability, which provides continuous charging of each slot, leakage current measurement, discharge time control, and the user can understand the current test progress through the progress table. The software provides programmable leakage capacitance judgment value, charging/discharging limit current value, and voltage setting.

The system consists of a high power switched-mode rectifier DC power supply (SMR), which provides a stable charging voltage and avoids small charging voltage variations, thus improving the stability and resolution of leakage current measurement.
