TPP0201 Passive Probe

Passive probes ship standard with most oscilloscopes and provide a low-cost, general-purpose probing solution. Typically, these probes lack the performance of active voltage probes, but are capable of providing the ruggedness and dynamic range needed for signal visualization in a large number of applications. Tektronix has redefined the performance of the passive probe product category with the introduction of a new passive probe type.

Tektronix's new passive probe solutions offer:

• Bandwidth up to 1 GHz
• Input capacitance as low as 3.9 pF to minimize probe loading effects
• Excellent input capacitance to minimize performance loss when connecting long ground wires
• Automatic probe compensation, eliminating the need for a compensation screwdriver
