Chroma 11050 Series High Frequency LCR Meter is a precision test instrument that provides passive component measurement and evaluation solutions with both accuracy and speed. Measurement items include inductance, capacitance, resistance, quality factor, loss factor, and other primary and secondary parameters required for passive component testing. The wide frequency range of 75kHz~30MHz/1kHz~10MHz/60Hz~5MHz is suitable for analyzing the characteristics of passive components at different frequencies, and the basic measurement accuracy of 0.1% provides not only high stability, but also high reliability of the measurement results. The fast measurement time of only 7ms can be used with automated machines to efficiently and significantly increase throughput.
The Chroma 11050 Series not only provides the excellent measurement performance that Chroma LCR meters have always been known for, but also inherits a variety of convenient features. Three different output impedance modes are available to meet the user's needs for matching measurement results with other instruments. Flexible display digit setting allows users to adjust the display mode according to their needs for measurement resolution. Test signal monitoring function allows real-time observation of the actual voltage and current carried by the object to be measured. Timing settings such as trigger delay, measurement delay, and averaging times allow the measurement to be closely matched to the automated machine operation and to achieve the most accurate measurement results within the limited measurement time.
The Chroma 11050 Series adopts a split-unit design for its external structure, utilizing dual CPUs to handle measurement and display separately, which not only improves the measurement speed, but also shortens the length of the test line when applying to automation machines, and strengthens the accuracy of high-frequency measurement.
Another major feature of Chroma 11050 Series is the comprehensive interface configuration. The standard interfaces include Handler and RS-232C interfaces for software and hardware to set measurement conditions, trigger measurement actions, determine measurement results and collect measurement data, USB storage interface for storing instrument settings, and an external overlap current interface for directly controlling the output of Chroma's DC overlap power supply. The optional GPIB or LAN interface can be selected according to the user's software communication needs.
Due to the thin and low power design orientation of portable electronic communication products, the test frequency is gradually increasing, which makes the equivalent series resistance value of the components become an important guideline to influence the quality of the products. Snubber capacitors play an important role in determining the reliability of the overall circuit, and in order to continue to work properly in an environment that frequently carries transient high voltage, it is necessary to maintain a very low equivalent series resistance value at high frequencies. Therefore, the Chroma 11050 Series has been designed and developed with a special focus on passive components in high frequency testing applications, in order to meet the actual needs of users and to enhance key measurement functions.
