Double overpower loading
The IT8400 series has a short time double over power pulling ability, and also has 1200V high voltage capability, this function covers all models from 6kW to 600kW, users do not need to select according to the highest point of the power value, which can greatly save the cost.
The input overpower magnitude and duration is related to the machine temperature, e.g., below 30°C, the IT8400 series supports up to 3 seconds of double power pulling.
Suitable for motor and battery instantaneous high power discharge test. For example, simulate DC motor startup, simulate the characteristics of some power supply instantaneous overload, or give power battery or fuel cell instantaneous high-power discharge.
Faster current rise and fall speeds and dynamic speeds
Dynamic test is one of the mandatory test items of power supply. Using the dynamic mode of the electronic load for testing, i.e., setting the high and low alignment of the current, dwell time, rising and falling slopes and the number of repetitions, can reflect the power supply's ability to stabilize itself when the pulling current changes in steps.
The IT8400 can provide up to 25kHz, programmable dynamic load modes with current rise and fall speeds of up to 15us, and internal monitoring mechanisms and circuits to minimize current waveform distortion during continuous changes in load current. It can be used for transient response time testing of switching power supplies and dynamic discharge testing of batteries.

Three current ranges
The IT8400 full series comes standard with three current ranges, such as 1200V, and the 6kW model supports a 1.5A current range with up to 40uA resolution and 1.5mA measurement accuracy.
Especially suitable for solar photovoltaic, power semiconductor devices, automotive electronics and other test applications.
