High-density multi-channel design for ultimate compact space efficiency
The DG5000 Pro revolutionizes the integration of up to eight high-performance output channels into a standard chassis. This saves up to two-thirds of your valuable bench and rack space compared to traditional multi-instrument solutions. This high-density design is designed to help you replace large groups of instruments with a single unit, greatly simplifying the setup and management of complex test systems.
Picosecond synchronization with flexible nanosecond delay tuning
The value of multi-channel lies in its precision timing control ability, DG5000 Pro not only has better than 500ps of inter-channel synchronization deviation, to ensure a high degree of natural consistency of multi-channel signals; moreover, based on this, it provides a wide range of ± 200ns of adjustable output delay. This powerful combination of "precise synchronization" and "flexible tuning" allows you to not only generate perfect coherent signal groups, but also easily simulate real-world propagation delays and build a variety of complex timing relationships, which is ideal for phased array technology research, multi-channel system simulation, and other advanced applications. It is the ideal choice for phased array technology research, multi-channel system simulation and other advanced applications.
Isolated channel group design for purity and flexibility
In complex systems where signal integrity is critical, the DG5000 Pro utilizes an advanced packet isolation architecture. Channels are organized into four pairs of completely independent isolation groups (CH1/2, CH3/4, ...) . Each group is completely electrically isolated from the others and from the chassis ground, eliminating ground loops that can occur when you are testing multiple independent circuits at the same time. Not only does this design ensure signal purity and safety, but the shared reference ground structure of the groups is also naturally suited to generating differential signals, giving you unrivaled flexibility in mixed-signal testing.
High sampling rate, high fidelity
With a sampling rate of up to 2.5 GSa/s and 16bit vertical resolution, the DG5000 Pro is able to capture and reproduce every minute detail of a signal. Whether it's a standard function or a complex arbitrary waveform, it can be reproduced with extreme fidelity, providing you with a stable and reliable "gold standard" signal source.
High fidelity signal with ultra-low jitter
Thanks to RIGOL's exclusive SiFi II signal high fidelity technology, the DG5000 Pro's signal jitter is kept at an amazing 200ps. This means that every edge of the waveform is extremely stable and clean. Whether it's used as a clock source for high-speed systems or for tests that require precision timing, the ultra-low jitter ensures that your signal is accurate in the time dimension.
High-speed square wave is standard on all models
The DG5000 Pro series is capable of outputting square waves up to 170 MHz with a rise time as low as 0.8 ns, which means that even standard configurations can easily simulate and test high-speed digital signals. With the design concept of "high performance at the entry level", you can get uncompromisingly high performance in any selection.
Flexible multi-pulse function
Designed for modern power semiconductor testing, the DG5000 Pro supports the generation of editable bursts from 2 to 30 times, making it easy to build application scenarios such as double-pulse testing (DPT), and is the ideal tool for dynamic characterization of devices such as MOSFETs and IGBTs.
Advanced Waveform Sequence Functions
Automate tedious and repetitive tasks. With up to 512 steps of sequence editing, you can program multiple waveforms that would otherwise need to be manually switched into a complete automated test case at once. This not only dramatically improves test efficiency, but also ensures the consistency and repeatability of complex test processes.
polyphonic modulation
Built-in powerful multi-tone signal generation capability, it can conveniently generate superimposed signals of up to 16 tones, and the amplitude and phase of each tone can be flexibly edited. It is an efficient tool for analyzing the intermodulation distortion and nonlinear characteristics of amplifiers, filters and other devices.
PRBS and customized code type output
Built-in code pattern generator can output pseudo-random codes (PRBS2~PRBS32) or user-defined code patterns up to 300M baud rate. It is a direct and reliable signal source for verifying the performance of high-speed serial bus and digital interface receivers (e.g. eye diagram and BER test).
