The AFG-4000 series is GWInstek's first arbitrary waveform signal generator with a large 8" touch screen. The single-channel model has a frequency of 25MHz, and the dual-channel model has a choice of 250MHz/100MHz/80MHz/60MHz/35MHz/25MHz. The entire series provides high resolution of 1μHz and built-in standard waveforms such as sine, square, triangle, pulse, noise, and harmonics. The highest frequency 250MHz model has a sampling rate of 1.25GSa/s; the 35MHz~100MHz model has a sampling rate of 500MSa/s; and the 25MHz entry-level model has a sampling rate of 125MSa/s. For vertical resolution, the 35MHz~250MHz model has a 16-bit resolution and the 25MHz entry-level model has a 14-bit resolution. In addition, for memory depth, the 35MHz-250MHz models are 10M and the entry-level 25MHz model is 16k. 146 arbitrary waveforms are built-in throughout the series for editing and output.
Dual-channel models offer dual-channel correlation settings such as frequency coupling, amplitude coupling, and tracking, allowing the user to quickly set up outputs associated with both channels. In terms of modulation functions, the AFG-4000 series offers AM, DSB-AM, FM, PM, PWM, ASK, PSK, BPSK, OPSK, FSK, 3FSK, 4FSK, OSK, SUM and other modulated signal outputs. Standard features include Sweep and Burst outputs and a counter function.The AFG4125AE has a built-in power amplifier. The AFG4125AE has a built-in power amplifier with a power output of 10W and an amplification factor of 10x, producing an output of up to 22V. Separate input/output power amplifiers provide a bandwidth range of 5Hz to 100kHz for audio signals and other application requirements.
The AFG-4000 series is equipped with an 8" high resolution TFTLCD and a touch screen function for models above 35MHz. The touch screen makes it easy to enter parameters. Simply touch a parameter such as frequency, amplitude, or DC offset, and a numeric entry window will appear on the screen. A numeric entry window will appear on the screen, allowing the user to intuitively enter parameters through this window or through the numeric keys on the AFG-4000's panel. With a large 8" screen, touch screen and a variety of built-in waveforms, users can control it to meet their signal generation needs.
Frequency 25MHz Models:AFG-4125E/4125AE/4225E have a built-in USB Host/Device interface, and models with frequencies ranging from 35MHz to 250MHz come standard with USB Host/Device and LAN interfaces.
