The IT6000PV series is a solar array simulator with I-V/P-V curve simulation, capable of simulating the IV output characteristics of various solar panels under different environmental conditions (including temperature, light, shadow decay, and aging). With 1500V high-voltage output and fast MPPT tracking speed, this series comes standard with PV curve simulation software and can control up to 20 IT6000PV sources to realize multi-channel MPPT tracking test. It is widely used in testing and verification of grid-connected inverters, string inverters, photovoltaic and storage inverters, and energy storage converters, providing users with efficient testing solutions.

The IT6000PV series is a solar array simulator, developed using third-generation SiC technology with bi-directional energy flow. The series can not only be used as a high-speed PV array simulator, capable of simulating IV curves under different light conditions, but also act as a battery simulator, enabling fast, continuous and seamless switching between output and absorption currents. They are widely used in the testing and verification of PV inverters, energy storage converters and PV-storage integrated machines, providing strong support for PV and energy storage related manufacturing enterprises to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Simulation of the output characteristics of various solar cells (FILL FACTOR)

Since solar cell utilization is not only related to its internal characteristics, but also affected by weather, season, temperature, illumination, cloud cover, rain and snow, etc., it will have different I-V characteristics at different times of the day, so the PV inverter must have a response strategy to adjust the operating point in real time so that it always works near the maximum power point. Photovoltaic simulation software supports the four-point method online switching function. During the software operation, users can also dynamically adjust the parameters of Voc, Vmp, Isc, Imp, illuminance and temperature curves, and the curves will be adjusted in real time according to the new parameters, which makes the test more accurate.

Static & Dynamic Maximum Power Point Tracking Performance Tests

MPPT tracking performance is a very important specification for PV inverters. PV inverters need to have a built-in MPPT mechanism to track the maximum output power of the solar cell in real time. Therefore, some organizations in the industry have defined some "standard" test patterns to compare different inverters according to the same standard, to test and improve the MPPT performance. IT6000PV comes standard with a multi-channel solar cell matrix simulation software with built-in MPPT test program for regulations EN50530, SANDIA, NB/T32004, NB/T32004, CGC/GF004. Users can directly select the appropriate regulation, set the corresponding parameters such as Vmp, Pmp, materials, test running time and the percentage of the maximum power, and then the screen will display the I-V curves and the tracking process in real time, verifying the efficiency of the PV inverter's MPPT mechanism, and also verifying the efficiency of the PV inverter's MPPT mechanism, as well as the MPPT performance. The I-V curve and real-time tracking process will be displayed on the screen to verify the MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) efficiency of the PV inverter, and record the data of the tracking process and generate reports.
