The new PCS-1000I is a high precision current shunt with isolated output, which inherits the function of PCS-1000 to sample voltage and current simultaneously. PCS-1000I adopts 5 groups of independent shunt resistors to provide five current measurement levels, namely, 300A, 30A, 3A, 300mA, 30mA. The PCS-1000I can automatically select the highest measurement resolution for the user to measure. The PCS-1000I can help users to switch gears automatically to save operation time.
PCS-1000I provides BNC output, which can be connected to an oscilloscope to directly observe the output current waveform changes, replacing the current probe. General oscilloscopes do not have isolated channels, and the input and output are designed with a common point structure, so the output load is prone to measurement errors. PCS-1000I adopts an isolated current output design, which can avoid measurement errors caused by the non-isolated output of the oscilloscope. PCS-1000I is not only a high-precision AC and DC shunt, but also provides USB and GPIB communication interfaces for remote program control. The PCS-1000I provides SCPI communication commands that allow users to remotely control the PCS-1000I from a computer to read back the measured values.
When the PCS-1000I is launched, it will completely replace the supply of PCS-1000 non-isolated output models, and the PCS-1000 will be completely discontinued at that time.
