A purer spectrum
In a variety of receiver testing, sometimes the receiver out-of-band interference signal may be higher than the energy of the in-band signal, so in such receiver testing, the signal source is required to simulate the out-of-band signal has a very high spectral purity and very low broadband noise, in order to prevent the in-band signal flooded in the noise can not be truly measured receiver performance.
SSG6000A's phase noise is as low as -135 dBc/Hz, and under each carrier frequency, the index has reached the international leading level; harmonics, sub-harmonics and non-harmonics can be as low as -60 dBc, with a high degree of spectral purity, which is able to adapt well to various extreme tests and local oscillator replacement needs.

Higher precision pulse generator/clock source
Typically automotive millimeter wave radar and EW receivers are designed to operate at the limit, so in their functionality and sensitivity testing, the test signals are required to be highly repeatable, precise in amplitude and frequency, and the Pulse width needs to be small enough. In more complex tests such as the receiver's phase parameter processing interval (CPI), distance resolution, etc., it is also necessary for the signal source to be able to output complex pulse trains.
The SSG6000A comes standard with a high-precision clock source, and can be optionally fitted with a pulse modulation, pulse generator, and burst generator, which can output pulses with a minimum width of 20ns and a resolution of up to 10ns, which can fully satisfy automotive millimeter wave radar system testing.

Higher output power and greater dynamic range
Tingyang SSG6000A also provides a wide level output range of -130 dBm ~ 24 dBm, which can well compensate for the attenuation of cables and fixtures when they are used in the microwave frequency range, making the test results more accurate and leaving a lot of room at the budget level for precision accessories optimized for specific applications.
