New Architecture, Higher Accuracy

SNA6000A vector network analyzer adopts a new internal architecture with more powerful data processing capability and faster response speed, which can easily realize 4-port S-parameter measurements, differential (balanced) measurements, time-domain measurements, bandwidth, Q-value and other one-key measurements. And its dynamic range is up to135dBIt has extremely low phase noise, which helps engineers to obtain accurate and reliable test results even in demanding test scenarios.

Switch Matrix - Easily Realize Multi-Port Device Testing Needs

Switching matrix can make the connection of multi-port device testing easy, and it is also an important part of the automatic test system, playing the role of controlling the signal flow. DYNAM's SSM5000A series RF switching matrix, with a frequency range of 9kHz~26.5GHz, is compatible with all of DYNAM's vector network products, and a single unit can expand the output ports up to 24, which can be continued to be stacked. Compared with the traditional measurement method, the measurement speed is greatly improved by using RF switch matrix, which can help engineers easily realize the connection and test of vector network analyzer and multi-port DUT, and also greatly adapt to the production line use scenario.

Mixer Measurements

Mixers are important components of microwave millimeter wave systems, and their characteristics directly affect the performance of the equipment or instrument. In all stages of mixer development and production, it is necessary to measure its performance indicators.
Traditional vector network analyzers only have two ports and one built-in signal source, and need to use external signal source to provide the signal of local oscillation in order to measure the mixer, which is not only cumbersome to operate, but also slow to measure and has a large error. On the other hand, Tingyang SNA6000A series vector network analyzers have 4 ports and two independent signal sources built-in, which can directly measure the frequency conversion loss of the mixer without the need of external signal source and controller.

Pulse measurement function

The SNA6000A's built-in pulse modulator and pulse generator are used to test high-power devices under test, such as power transistors, and modules that need to be operated in pulse mode. Measurements using pulsed excitation can safely characterize such devices where heat build-up from continuous-wave excitation can damage the device under test, and also support control of external pulse generators and modulators to synchronize with an external master pulse.

Enhanced Time Domain Analysis TDR

The SNA6000A supports an advanced time-domain analysis function (TDR) that accurately measures the characteristic impedance of a transmission line and helps locate the exact position of breaks or shorts. In addition, the SNA6000A's TDR function generates eye diagrams through internal simulation, enabling efficient waveform conformance testing without the need for an additional pattern generator. The eye diagram function can be used to visually analyze noise, jitter, and inter-code crosstalk in signal transmission, etc. The TDR function can be widely used in PCB impedance testing, material performance testing, and transmission line quality testing.
