The TH6900 series are wide range output programmable switching DC power supplies with 21 models available in 750W, 1500W and 3000W. The instruments support up to 10 master-slave parallel connections of the same model to meet higher output current and output power requirements.

TH6900 series supports sequence test function, which allows users to set a series of voltage, current, power, and automatically output with the set rules to better meet the user's automatic test and aging test applications. The instrument can store 50 sequences, each containing 20 steps, each step of the function can be set independently, a total of 12 independent functions, including cycle control, slope mode output and other rich control functions.

The instrument can output sine wave, rectangular wave, triangular wave, trapezoidal wave, etc. based on the set voltage, current and other parameters, based on which the user can form a sequence output, the sequence can be set up to ten steps, and each step can be set to any one of the waveforms as well as the duration of the waveform, which is convenient for the user to test the product. In addition, TH6900 power supply with solar array simulation function, in addition to the host computer software to achieve CC, CV, EN50530 and other modes of output, stand-alone also built-in model for simulating solar array output curve.

This series of power supply also features adjustable rising and falling edge speeds. Various modes (source CV, CC, CP) support the setting of rising and falling time, and the setting range is from 0.01S to 999.99S.

A. Convenient panel operation

It is equipped with a high-brightness 4.0-inch color LCD display, comfortable silicone buttons, easy-to-operate convenient knobs, and 4 intuitive LED status indicators.

C. DC output

This series of power supplies contains three basic models, 750W, 1.5kW and 3kW, with output voltages ranging from 0~40V to 0~1000V, and output currents ranging from 0~2.5A to 0~120A, which correspond to a wide range of different models. Voltage, current and power can be continuously adjusted from 0% to 100%, regardless of manual control or remote control (analog or digital).

 

D. Parallel functions

All products come standard with a digital master-slave bus. This allows up to 10 units of the same model to be connected in parallel to aggregate the actual voltage, current and power to form a larger system. This operation can be fully configured via the control panel on the product, or remotely via any of the digital communication interfaces.

 

E. Remote compensation function

In order to avoid the voltage drop caused by long wires connecting to the load, the remote test allows the output voltage to be measured directly on the terminals of the object to be tested to improve the accuracy of the measurement.S+ and S- are the remote compensation terminals, and it is sufficient to connect S+ and S- to the positive and negative terminals of the object to be tested when using the remote compensation test.

 

F. Discharge circuits

This series of power supply units are all equipped with a discharge circuit inside. It ensures that the dangerous voltage drops below 10VDC within 1S after the DC output is turned off to ensure human safety when no load or with small load.

 

G. Analog control interface

The rear panel of the product is equipped with an isolated analog interface terminal. Connecting 0~10V or 0~5V voltage to the analog input pin, the output voltage, current and power of 0~100% can be set. The analog output pin outputs 0~10V or 0~5V voltage corresponding to the output voltage and current of 0~100%, realizing the monitoring function of output voltage and current. In addition, there are several input and output pins that can be used to control and monitor the product status.

 

H. Protection functions

In order to protect the customer's connected devices, an overvoltage protection limit (OVP) as well as overcurrent (OCP) and overpower (OPP) protection limits can be set. If one of these three values is exceeded for any reason, the DC output will be cut off immediately and a status signal will be sent to the display and interface. The product is also over-temperature protected, if the product is overheated, it will shut down the DC output to protect the object to be measured and the power supply.

 

I. Wide Range Output

Constant power supply has a wider range of output voltage and current than ordinary power supply, and a single type of power supply can meet the test requirements of customers' multi-specification products. The voltage and current output of the power supply is limited by the limit power, reduce the output current to get a higher voltage or reduce the output voltage to get a larger output current, so it is more flexible than the traditional "matrix" power supply. J. Function generators

All models in this series have a real function generator that can form typical functions as follows and apply them to the output voltage or output current. The generator can be set from the front panel or remotely configured via a digital interface. The preset functions provide the user with all the necessary parameters, such as Y deviation, time, frequency or amplitude, for a complete set of configuration parameters.

K. Output back-voltage protection

The TH6900 series DC power supply can be integrated with reverse voltage protection module to absorb the reverse voltage generated by inductive loads. No need for customers to connect diodes in parallel outside the power supply, simplifying wiring and diode selection difficulties.

 

L. Sequence testing

In addition to the standard functions generated based on the function generator, it can also form certain complex functions. The sequence test function contains a total of 50 sequences stored in a non-volatile memory, each group contains 20 test steps, and the user can edit the function of each step according to the actual needs, so that the power supply can be output in a sequence at constant voltage, constant current or constant power mode to meet the specific test requirements.

Sequence Test Example

A typical aging test proceeds like this: a voltage is fed to the DUT at a certain ramp for a certain period of time, then suddenly rises to another voltage for a certain period of time, then the voltage is raised again for a certain period of time ......, and finally the voltage is lowered to zero in a ramp fashion. A sequence of voltage switching cyclic tests is also required in some cases, the following figure gives one type of voltage waveform regarding aging tests.

M. Host computer software

This product is also equipped with control software suitable for operation under Windows system, which can remotely control multiple units of the same model. It has a clear main interface that displays all set values and actual values. It also has the functions of remote starting, stopping the device, data saving, and serial test programming.
