What is Keysight PathWave BenchVue Software?

common problems 7370

Keysight PathWave BenchVue software includes and hosts a variety of applications. BenchVue applications help you control your test instruments and streamline your testing process.

PathWave BenchVue software lets you connect to, control, and capture data from a growing range of YesTech instruments. Most function generators come with PC application software that can be connected to a computer. Using the software often makes it easier to connect and control the instrument and to automate instrument test sequences, avoiding many of the problems associated with performing tests on a test bench.

  • What is the importance of waveform sequencing?

    384

Waveform sequencing lets you create multiple configured waveforms that contain multiple common segments. Sorting lets you build complex, long waveforms using as little instrument memory as possible. Waveform sequencing lets you save storage capacity by replaying shorter waveforms at different locations on the signal as needed. Many tests require long waveform memory records. The required record length...

What is voltage? An easy-to-understand explanation of the difference from current and knowledge of units of measurement ■ Outline When using electronic equipment, you need to have a clear grasp of current, resistance, and voltage. However, there are many people who only know these words and do not understand them in detail. Here, we will explain in layman's terms what the definition of voltage is, what the difference between current and potential is,...

  • How does a vector network analyzer work?

    415

A network analyzer consists of a signal source and a receiver. The receiver will detect changes in the output signal of the device (or network) and then compare it to the source signal fed into the device. To evaluate the effect of the device on current and voltage, the VNA measures the resulting amplitude and phase response. This results in transmission and reflection measurements, impedance and s-parameters, which can be used by the test engineer to...

  • How to use the current probe

    533

Want to know how to use the current probe? Please first understand the following basic usage of the current probe and precautions for use. Since electricity is invisible, it is not possible to immediately determine whether a malfunction has occurred. In some cases, current measurements are required on a daily basis to prevent malfunctions, as well as to identify the cause of malfunctions when they do occur. Digital multimeters, clamp meters, and current probes can be used...
